ABOUT Volleyball Athletes
How did we start our involvement in promoting volleyball players?
In September 2022, prior to the onset of the 2022-2023 Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) season, parents of the Pakmen 16U girls’ team convened to discuss enhancing their players’ online visibility to university coaches.
This initiative led to the development of the “PakmenGirls2025” website. The site aimed to provide a platform for athletes aspiring to continue their volleyball careers at collegiate levels in Canada and the U.S.
In less than a year, the team website achieved significant milestones:
- It reached audiences in 45 countries
- Attracted over 450 unique monthly visitors
- Facilitated numerous interactions with players' social media profiles
- Notably, the site garnered attention from NCAA Division I volleyball coaches, resulting in direct outreach to the team
However, not all players were inclined toward pursuing volleyball beyond the club level, making a team-wide website less feasible.
In response, we launched “Volleyball Athletes,” an online platform offering individual profile pages. This service allows athletes to independently manage and update their profiles, ensuring that essential information and references are readily accessible to coaches and recruiters, all at an affordable cost for families.
Why did we start the Volleyball Athletes Recruiting project?
We launched the Volleyball Athletes Recruiting project because we saw a clear need for specialized support in helping Canadian volleyball players connect with NCAA programs.
Today, we offer two tailored options:
- Full-service Volleyball Recruiting for Canadian athletes who are serious about playing in the NCAA and need hands-on support.
- Customizable Recruiting Profile Pages for players who prefer a DIY approach but still want an effective way to showcase their skills to coaches.
Many talented athletes have the potential to play at the collegiate level in the U.S., but they often struggle with understanding the recruiting process, identifying real opportunities, and knowing who to trust. Families frequently find themselves overwhelmed with conflicting information, making it difficult to take the right steps at the right time.
We wanted to bridge that gap by providing expert guidance and reliable recruiting solutions.
Our goal is to make the recruiting journey smoother, more transparent, and more accessible, ensuring that every athlete who dreams of playing in the U.S. has the tools and support they need to succeed.

My background:
> As a father I witnessed the hardship of the recruiting process a couple of time and I got feedback from other parents who were in the same situation
> As a high-performance athlete: it helps me understand the pressure the athletes are going through and what it means to be successful
> As an Online Marketing Consultant: I understand the online world and make the best out of it to help athletes get the exposure and the volleyball experiences they deserve

Luca Nastase

My background:
> Played 5 years of club volleyball at Pakmen Volleyball Club. Won many Provincial and National Championships with Pakmen including 18U Provincials and Nationals.
> Luca was a member of Team Ontario Elite for 2 years. He is a Canada Cup Gold Medalist.
> After graduating high school, he played 5 years of OUA volleyball at the University of Windsor where he won an OUA silver medal in 2023. He was a Karen Harvie Scholarship recipient.
> He graduated University of Windsor in 2024, with a BSc in Human Kinetics
